This is the press cake that remains after oil has been extracted from hemp seeds. It is rich in fiber and has a protein content of approximately 32-36%.

It can be used as feed for poultry or wild birds. The thickest pellets are around 10mm in size and are very hard, so soaking them is recommended to make them easier for all birds to eat.

As a food product, it is becoming increasingly popular due to its high protein content and mild nutty flavor. It can be used in smoothies, bread baking, stews, as a snack, and more. Please note that we are technically selling this as animal feed, although we buy it as food-grade material ;) - and because it's classified as feed, you'll pay 25% VAT instead of 12%, meaning more funds for public services like schools and healthcare!

This is a product made from industrial hemp, with low levels of the controlled substance THC. However, CBD can be extracted from this variety, which is commonly used as a medicinal substance.

The hemp is EU organic, grown in Lithuania, and has a transport emission to our warehouse of 0.037 kWh/kg or, in terms of carbon dioxide, 0.135 kg CO2-equivalent/kg of hemp.
