2.5 kg hazelnuts grown in Turkey - EU Organic.

In the wild, few species can handle the hard shell of hazelnuts. The Eurasian Nutcracker is the real specialist, but the nutcracker, nuthatch, and greater woodpecker also eat hazelnuts. In shelled form, it may be attractive to more species – we don't yet have extensive experience with feeding hazelnuts, so feel free to let us know how it works at your bird feeders!

The nuts are sourced from Turkey and are food-grade when we receive them. Once we repackage them and sell them, they are officially considered feed since we are a feed company. But we, ourselves, enjoy them very much!
