Fantastic, Useful Book
Liehandboken "The Scythe Handbook" was written during a transitional period when scythe sharpeners began arriving in Sweden. Those of us who had started using scythe sharpeners at that time had acquired so much experience and listened to other experienced users from different countries that the book is well-updated on the subject.
At the same time, we still had the sharpening stones fresh in our minds, so it also delves deeply into how to take care of sharpening stones.
The Scythe Handbook swings between philosophical musings and green excursions about a quiet, flower-scented life around cottages, farms, and urban environments – it takes us to the meadow and dives into the flowers. It talks about good stretching exercises and goes deeper into what it's like to be an entrepreneur in the scythe industry – more entrepreneurs are needed now!
216 pages of pure scythe geekery and incredibly inspiring images!
The author is my (Janne’s) good friend and long-time scythe collaborator Rune Stenholm. A big thank you to you, Rune, for all the work you've put into this book.
