Roof for birdfeeders

A separate roof for bird feeders—provides extra protection for both the birds and their food from rain and snow. Originally designed for our "Kåtan" bird feeder, we think this roof could work quite well as extra protection for peanut feeders and tube feeders. The roof has a small hole at the top. For tube feeders, it hangs easily on the hook. For other feeders, you can tie a knot in the string to keep the roof at the right level.

The diameter at the bottom is 27.5 cm.

Please note that the roof is made of plastic and is very lightweight. It sways in the wind and can easily tip over if too much snow or ice builds up on one side. However, we're sure there are clever solutions to stabilize the roof in harsher weather conditions. Let us know your ideas!
