Jan Wester

Jan (Janne) Wester, also known as Slåttergubben, is the founder of the company.

With great passion, he spreads both knowledge and interest in biodiversity, scything, conservation work, and meadowlands. It all started with a great interest in birds, which indeed need many insects to eat and feed their young, and that’s the path it has followed. 

Janne is involved in all parts of the company, such as leading scythe courses, scything on behalf of municipalities, county councils, and private individuals, mixing and packaging organic bird feed, and serving as the company’s public face.
